I hate this whole Iran election protest thing going on. Not that I hate that the Iranian people are protesting. I hate that they are protesting and their voices are being shut down.

I'm sure by now everyone has heard of Rod Blagojevich and the corruption scandal. I like it when I see Illinois in the news but gee, how great to see that Rod B tried to sell Obama's empty Senate seat. Unbelievable.

Just makes me glad I stuck to my gut two and a half years back and did not shake the man's hand when there was an opportunity.

For the first time in my life, I voted.

I  went in early because I worried about long lines. Didn't have to worry too much...line wasn't too bad. I went into the booth thing, voted, and went home.

Not NEARLY as exciting as I thought it would be, being my first time voting and all.

But still, it was kind of cool. Now we just have to wait.

God I'm dumb. My sophomore year at school, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn visited my dorm as guests in-residence. And all this time Bill Ayers is in the news and I have no idea who he is. A bit of digging up later, I realise who he is. *FACEPALM ( Read more... )

I think I've definitely studied more than my head can handle. I can't look at another practice test (esp. logic section) without wanting to just shut the book and go watch a bad movie or something.
