My dad was telling me about this story in India. A cop was hurt - knifed and bombed or something, I'm still fuzzy about the details - but anyway. He's lying in the middle of the road and no assistance is given to him, other than someone making a 911 call. It's been a busy couple of weeks. Amazingly, the weather is beautiful today and when I was rushing to the train, I had to pause and revel in this strange warmth of early November.
I guess it really is going to be a warm winter. Hehe.

OK. Here's what I don't get. Why is it that some people who believe in God don't believe in science?

I consider myself religious. But at the same time, I believe in the Big Bang theory and in evolution.

I'm sure by now everyone has heard of Rod Blagojevich and the corruption scandal. I like it when I see Illinois in the news but gee, how great to see that Rod B tried to sell Obama's empty Senate seat. Unbelievable.

Just makes me glad I stuck to my gut two and a half years back and did not shake the man's hand when there was an opportunity.

I just can't believe what's been happening the past 24 hours plus. I just hope everything gets better soon and no more people die.

It's sad that a couple days ago, I was satellite watching for my old neighbourhood in Bombay and saying to myself what an incredible city it is before this crisis craziness befalls it.

I ordered the Atonement soundtrack last week as an Xmas/just for fun/ME present for me. I've watched the trailer about ten gazillion times and absolutely love the music.
