God vs. Man
OK. Here's what I don't get. Why is it that some people who believe in God don't believe in science?
I consider myself religious. But at the same time, I believe in the Big Bang theory and in evolution.
So naturally when I saw this story, I couldn't wait to read the comments and see what PA thinks about it.
I think the inability of some people to believe in evolution as well as their religion seems a very Christian thing. And if there are problems about people viewing evolution and the creation of the universe as NOT scientific but the work of god in other religions, I am wholly ignorant of it. And please correct me if I'm wrong--but is this more prominent in America?
I guess I just don't see why people can't believe in their faith but also that man evolved from monkeys. But I'll just stop right there.
