I'm a horrible mother and I am wallowing in self hatred right now for how I treated Audrey earlier today. She is slightly sick with a cough and as a result is extra whiny. On our flight home to Michigan my two kids and I ended up sitting next to a young French woman. She spoke a little English and seemed friendly. I was glad to have her as a seat mate since I had worried that Audrey would freak out if she were forced to be in close proximity to some smelly old man for 2 ½ hours.
