i've spent literally from 4pm until now downloading two audiobooks for my ipod.

(after umming and ahhing over the vagina monologues, i went for a learn-italian-without-writing-and-practically-without-any-effort-at-all-if-you-believe-the-advertising one, and winnie the pooh. i suspect i shall go back for the v.m. at some point though)

ok so my ipod, henceforth to be known as miss kitty fantastico, is my new lover.

1350 songs and counting... she has the stamina of a nuclear-charged duracell bunny.

my ipod arrived this morning! i've spent about 5 hours uploading music, sorting out artist/title tags, and sorting photos into folders... i have 607 songs and 155 photos on there so far and i'm not half way through yet. it's so funny, after transferring each batch of songs onto it i keep subconsciously expecting it to feel heavier or something :D

i'm in france! it's beautiful and lovely, and i couldn't have wished for a better birthday. (the backspace key on this french keyboard is miniscule, i keep putting hashes in instead of deleting typos, which is taking me ages to type anything intelligible)
