The End Of The Year Is'ith Approaching
Nearing the end of school yesterday, I was overjoyed in realizing it was Friday. Yet again I had completed another long week which only leads me closer and closer to summer time, and the completion of this school year. I can't wait to get on with my life after this year ends.
There's only eight real school days after this, since we have Monday off. And, the last four days are all minimum days, which mean we get out at 12:36 PM. The final two days will be finals--go figure--but I'll only have to take one final during that week of all four of my classes. I'm taking my chemistry final this Friday--the week before we get out of school--and my AP music theory final as well.
The AP music theory final will be really easy. Since we've already taken the humongous 4-hour long advanced placement test back in the earlier times of this month, we've been taking it easy and have learnt how to play the recorders. It's pretty cool, actually, because I'm not half bad. Sarah Spero is my partner for the final, and we're playing "Joy To The World". I already have my harmony memorized, so it'll be pretty easy-going.
The only final I'll do during finals week will be the algebra 2 final on that final day, Thursday the 8th. So in reality, there's only six real days of school left, two of which will be short days. The end of the year will be so much fun... but at the same time, very emotional, as this year I'm friends with many more seniors than last year. I hope to cope with it well.
So many good things have happened this year. I've realized several critical things about life, and things that have changed me for the better. I've received my drivers license, turned sixteen, and seen several concerts by bands such as Green Day, Paramore, and Jack's Mannequin. It's been an awesome 10th grade year, and I probably wouldn't trade it for anything.
Now that summer is approaching, I couldn't be more happy. Throughout the duration of the summer, I'm going to be so busy and active with a ton of awesome things. The sight reading classes will occur in June, I'll be going on tour in late-June, July 4th will be tight, the Warped Tour later that week, then piano camp in late July. Durante all of that, I'll be hanging out, taking pictures, and getting my room rearrangement plans in action, it will be intense.
