Got a call from my stepdad today. It's funny just how awesome he is when he's away from the house... but that's a story for another time. Anyways. He was in town for his job and gave me a ride to work. He says he's fixing up the car he bought for me a couple years ago, but I can't really afford to keep it right now...

Well my floor is dry now, though a bit brown in places. The maintenance guy came by a few days ago and got a bunch of it out of the carpet with a wet vaccuum. He said we'd have to let the rest dry on it's own though and then eventually they'd get around to steam-cleaning it.
