Wow, seems like forever since I've posted! This is what's happened in the last few weeks:

• Still haven't made it down to Reading.  Was going to go last Saturday but found out on Thursday that my friend had an infection and a fever and couldn't have any visitors till after the weekend.  So I didn't buy tickets.  Fever and infection turned into an ( Read more... )

Yesterday I

• went to work
• found 40 pounds in the street
• mailed a form that needed to be in a week ago (oops)
• took J to the park and to visit a few friends
• decided to learn how to make jam

What a morning.

That is to say, what a morning following what a night.  I didn't actually fall asleep until five am so was feeling pretty rough when I woke up.  Got the kids breakfast, got them to get dressed, let out the animals and made coffee.  Let Merlin back in and fed and injected him.  Showered, got dressed, cobbled together some lunch to ( Read more... )
