We hit the Austin City-Wide Garage Sale yesterday where we spent $9 to get in the door, $3 to park ($7, actually, but they gave us a coupon for $4 off any purchase), and then proceeded to find very little of interest. I almost snagged a bag of broken G.I. Joe figures, but the seller wanted $10 and I wasn't going to pay more than $5

Last weekend I wrote about my new pedometer. Well, yesterday gina-fischer and dr_kromm helped me put the pedometer through its paces. 20,251 steps -- which translates to 162 minutes of walking, 6.71 miles, and 579.8 calories burned -- for the day. Where did those steps take us

Gina bought me an Accusplit Eagle pedometer for Christmas and each day I've been trying to hit 10,000 steps. Many weekdays I fall short, coming in at only 8,500 or 9,000 steps, while weekends I almost always hit 12,000+ steps
