When I first got Aisha, she had an eye problem, and I had to put some ointment in her eyes twice a day for weeks. She hated it, but I managed to get it done. Fuzzball seems to be taking after his aunt in this respect, but he struggles more, and it doesn't help that I have to give him refrigerated ear mite medicine at the same time. I called home today, to see how things were going. Dad's doing well. Mom's fine. But Spike passed away. Apparently about the same time Dad went into the hospital. Mom says she didn't tell me because she didn't want to give me too much bad news at once. Of course, she also didn't tell me Dad as in the hospital until he was out ( Read more... )

Just got Aisha home from the vet again.  Her stitches are out and she's doing great.  Weight's up to about five and a half pounds.  She's getting too big for her carrier, so I picked up a new one while we were out at PetSmart.  Also stocked up on kitty litter and food at their sale ( Read more... )

I haven't felt all that well this week. It comes and goes. Coughing, phlegm, just generally puny. Hopefully I'll be better in a few days.

I had chicken soup for dinner, maybe that'll help.
