I forgot the men's long program was on tonight, and I missed Evan Lysacek. And I wish skaters would stop trying to do those damn quads, because it just kills me when they miss.

Evan Lysacek is a long, tall, elegant drink of water, isn't he? I'm glad he did so well, and it was moving to see someone so profoundly affected by his own performance.

My Mardi Gras evening went off without a hitch. I thought I was going to run out of time to get ready, but it worked out perfectly. I had beads and crowns for anyone who wanted to wear them, although most people wore their own beads.
