Yesterday, the Unbalanced Wife and I spent the morning at the quarterly Board of Trustees meeting for her university. This was the meeting where they voted to implement Domestic Partners benefits for university employees -- by January 1, no less. So that was cool to see.

I can hear the bassline of the song the Unbalanced Wife is writing. She's played it about a gazillion times in a row and now it's burned into my brain. Of course, she *should* be grading, but it really makes me happy to hear the music coming back alive in her. This is the first time she's worked on something new since we started dating.
