Alright!  I finally made it back home, intact, with all my luggage!  I am certainly done flying for awhile.

But I am already missing Germany very sorely!  I miss the mountains the most, I think.  I couldn't resist taking one last picture at the airport.

One thing I don't like about Germany...wireless internet connections.  It's absolutely rediculous!  I know it's because of the thick old stone walls, but geez!  I haven't had such a hard time staying online, ever!

Yesterday, I really didn't do much of anything.  I tried to give Chris a call, but he couldn't hear me, and I gave up.

I suppose one of the best things about living in a U.S. military city (the U.S. Army Airborne base is in Wiesbaden) is that one can have whatever one would desire in American food.  For me that has always been sour cream.  I know, I know.  That's weird, right?  Germany doesn't produce sour cream in the same way that the U.S. does, and I much prefer ( Read more... )
