There are a few books I still wish to read about the Rwandan genocide, including Philip Gourevitch's We wish to inform you that tomorrow we will be killed with our families, plus several films I have yet to see including Hotel Rwanda, Shake Hands with the Devil and Shooting Dogs. I'm presently in Narita, a quiet town about an hour's drive from Tokyo. There are railway stations on either side of my hotel, which serve several thousand city commuters who shop at half a dozen 24hr convenience stores where they can buy strange food and/or pornographic Manga.
