That was a particularly cruel event.

I'm not convinced it was a regular event. It's possible the scientists did something that caused some sort of fluctuation, but who knows?

I've tried to stay out of people's way these past couple weeks. Is everyone all right?

*There is a clattering as the PCD turns on, perhaps from being knocked over. The microphone picks up rough, violent coughing. There's an attempt to muffle the sound, but it hardly helps. Obviously, anyone in the vicinity can hear it. The breaths that follow are ragged and shaky, and don't last very long before the coughing starts all over again. ( Read more... )

How trustworthy is the roof? I think I'd like to check on it from time to time and maybe make sure the snow doesn't pile up too high.

Someone gets themselves killed and everyone acts like it's some sort of unprecedented disaster. I'm not saying it isn't unhappy for that person or his friends, and I have sympathy in that regard. But it's hard for me to imagine that anyone could be surprised ( Read more... )

Well, this is festive.

*The gundam apartment building is shaken by a shotgun blast in the evening hours, sounding like it came from the downstairs. A minute or so later, there is a voice message from Heero's PCD. He sounds just the teeniest bit shaken*
