Gosh.  What a month it's been.

The San Francisco shows went beautifully- words can't express how thankful I feel that so many friends and family showed up.  My parent's friends, who I hadn't seen in probably 10 years, drove two hours from Sonoma to see it.  Rudy freaking flew from L.A. to see it.  My boss came to see it.  And, of course, the amazing ( Read more... )

I just applied for seasonal work at the Bloomingdale's in the San Francisco Center.  I had to complete a lengthy, ridiculous questionnaire.  One of the questions read as follows:

"When you look at the world, do you feel that there is little hope for mankind?"

Our circusy friends made the excellent point that, because these acrobats are successfully performing these tricks on a regular basis, it means that what we are seeing is really only the mid-level of what they are able to accomplish on the whole.  Good ( Read more... )

 Parker graduated from high school today!  It was a trip, seeing not only the school again, but all the teachers, and a few friends who were also there for their younger sibs.  Weird weird weird.
