So, regarding the job, I've talked to Sky and Mom about it and they seem happy and supportive. Of course, my Mom says that she'll miss me and everything, but if I have my own place I should be able to skype with her more often than not, so that's always a big plus. I had a job interview yesterday for a job in Natori. Mika used to work there. It's for an eikaiwa gakkou, an English school, and the guy runs it with his wife. He's a former JET that went to Iwate and he's been there since '91 or something. He was really nice. I found a box full of souvenirs that I brought home from Japan to give to people. I guess the people I had in mind to give the presents to weren't around or something. I ended up using them myself.
