I am more of melody guy with less or no consideration to lyrics. But this one kinda hits hard as this is how we behave even on best of our days. That's one reason why I love radio stations as well. It started with launchcast in 2002/2003. Launchcast introduced me to likes of Interpol, Bitter sweet symphony, Temper trap, the smiths, Mazzy Star etc. Then it was Y! music post takeover by Yahoo folks. Classical Music & Rhythmbox & Radio Paradise
Was worried after upgrading Ubuntu 12.04 to 14.04 as rhythmbox was no longer showing the 3 "rock" stations which were there in 12.04. They were good except of irritating commentaries and advertisements. I used to listen to those channels in hope of discovering unlearnt lovely songs. Doomsday soundtrack by Murray Gold is awesome!
Was mesmerized while this soundtrack played during the doomsday episode of Doctor Who between 36:42 and 38:40. It's a heart-wrecking tune that way. The 5+ minutes edition which, even though not that effective, is still recommended for listening. You can get it from here - music
