Classical Music & Rhythmbox & Radio Paradise
Was worried after upgrading Ubuntu 12.04 to 14.04 as rhythmbox was no longer showing the 3 "rock" stations which were there in 12.04. They were good except of irritating commentaries and advertisements. I used to listen to those channels in hope of discovering unlearnt lovely songs. Been listening to Radio Paradise since last 2 days. Thank you 14.04 :)
Radio Paradise is lovely. No commentary. No advertisement. Just songs after songs and approx 60% of them were awesome to listen to. Waise I am no longer experiencing draught of any music. One fine friend got me awesome collections. Kishori Amonkar and Shruti Sadolikar are simply mind blowing. Got hooked to barely 5 songs between them. So much that I am not even trying to listen to their other songs or other performances by other wonderful Maestros. I do feel guilty in between to get so biased but what to do... I probably don't become patient with new music until I become damn desperate about trying them out... Paradox of a different kind :P
