They trap us, they free us... our emotions

What a beautiful melodious song by Lisa Hannigan (see this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6wVijh2n9g). Repeating the lyrics from the song here.

Between the here, between the now
between the north, between the south
between the west, between the east
between the time, between the place
from the shell, the song of the sea
neither quiet nor calm
searching for love again
Mo ghra

Between the winds, between the waves
between the sands, between the shores
from the shell, the song of the sea
neither quiet nor calm
searching for love again
Between the stones, between the storms
Between belief, between the seas
Ta me i dtiuin

In all, Song of the sea is a beautiful animation movie. Clearly my favorite movie of this year. Few years back I had written about how our emotions define us. Without them, we would be just like stones. And incidentally this movie conveys this message in its core. May be that's why I am kinda biased towards this movie :P

I haven't come across anyone who had it all easy, all happiness, everything divine for him/her. It has always been a mix. One emotion trading place with other. Sometimes its damn abrupt to break chaos in our mind. Sometimes its damn pleasant to make it look like a living dream. What do we do to cope up with them? While we enjoy through the pleasant ones without any issue, it's the testing ones that we need to pass through. You have to survive, not give up and protect that seemingly feeble faith that it too shall pass through. In the end, it will become an experience, a memory which can either make you strong, paranoid or a believer. While you may not always have a control or choice about it but whenever possible, do try to be a believer instead :)
