Last month I worked at the NB library bookstore. They had a totally cool popup book in excellent conditon. Can't remember the title but it was by Robert Sabuda and Matthew Reinhart.  It had 5 popups on every page!! Whew! I'm exhausted. Put a bunch of books on ebay. It was pure torture. Couldn't get pics to load and they have a new strategy trying to mess with people who put out low prices and high "shipping". Yeah, the "shipping" is actually the cost/profit on the item. That way they only have to pay niggardly ebay fees. I'm fine with that. It's not ( Read more... )

I got to use a friend's badge to go to ALA today.   She said I could get lots of free books and I did!!    After I started filling the second bag, I realized I had enough, mostly because the first bag was so heavy my arm, my neck, and my shoulder ached.  Time to go home.
