PROGRESS!!
Whew! I'm exhausted. Put a bunch of books on ebay. It was pure torture. Couldn't get pics to load and they have a new strategy trying to mess with people who put out low prices and high "shipping". Yeah, the "shipping" is actually the cost/profit on the item. That way they only have to pay niggardly ebay fees. I'm fine with that. It's not like eBay is losing money!! So... the fucking bastards now have you go through the postage calculator if you ask more than $4 in "shipping" fees. Assholes.
Anyhoo, I have to clear out crap, I really do. Mostly so the amount of crap I have to move/store when the floor gets put in will be managable. And I'm totally overwhelmed and fed up, so I'm doing quite well. I'd gotten rid of ~4 boxes on Sat and ~4 boxes on Sun.
Trouble is, I notice lots of books by specific authors do pretty well. So I'm now aggregating. But I don't know if it's worth it. It's probably at least a half hour of time to take a pic and write the copy and then the hard part: putting the crap of fucking ebay. Takes for fucking ever to load the pics and there are always problems loading the goddamn pages. Have to keep clearing history and cached pages. Think it's the POS virus program which is fucking us up.
Today I dropped off 3 boxes at Newport. I subbed for a lady and snuck those in. Good thing we were out of SF and I'd brought mostly SF. Score!
I tried to drop off a couple of boxes at Westminster, but Dolores was there. Ick on Dolores with her false friendliness and fake chattiness.
So... resolution: At least one box of books per day, either to the library or on eBay. But it's bizplan time and Andy needs help. And maybe Miguel. So that means more hours of real work. Ugh. But I can use the money. I need to pay off the floor, Daniel's debt, then Nate's. That means I need to earn $40K and I can rest! Although I would like to have someone do the yard, design and implement. That could run another 15K at least, prob more. Ruth said she spent $65K and had little to show for it. Damn.
