Hi there!

I have announced my pregnancy a few months ago. But the reality of me being a mother didn't hit until I had my ultrasound and saw the baby inside my belly--with heartbeat and moving and all that.

Resilience and positive attitude are some of Filipinos' characteristic that made them withstand the worst storms and calamities. And I've seen it manifested yet again last night when me and my husband volunteered to help out at the evacuation center. A few days ago, the news about a storm hitting our city came and that was weird on itself. Not because we don't get hit by typhoons but because if it does, it's as rare as a blue moon and it won't be more than a few hours of rain. But what happened that Friday night of December 16th was beyond what we could ever imagined.
