So, the Dr. tells me that I have the opposite of what happens to kids with serious ear infections. Instead of my eardrums bulging out, they are being sucked inward so hard that they look like vacu-form stuff, so much so that you can see most of the bone structure within the middle ear ( Read more... )

Drake is at the vet's for the night -- with errands and "Mom's Cab" and other critical things (like getting to the bank) I couldn't get there before they closed, and also because he seemed really weak during the morning. I got the updates on my blood work in the mail a couple of days ago. One paragraph reads:

Well, the physical went well. My PAC did it this time, rather than my Doctor. As I find the PAC fun and amusing, witty, conscientious, and thorough (as I do my doctor, actually), I don't mind seeing this one as I did the last one employed by the practice.
