Went into the MUNY auds this morning. Sang for someone other than Paul Blake (who I guess I somewhat impressed last year--but was hearing the other half of the singers). So the apartment search has come to an end. I've found a place to live! Monday morning, I signed a lease on a new apartment in... Maplewood. Yes, I know that it may not seem like a move, given I'll remain in the same town, but this new place is a definite step up from my current digs. With the final matinee performance of Porgy and Bess this afternoon, Union Avenue Opera's summer season comes to a close. Thursday, I went to see The Light in the Piazza. What a great way to warm myself up during this ugly cold spell in St. Louis. It was everything I had expected it to be.
