[dated for early morning Sunday, October 22]

Pam woke up early, after a definitely unrestful night's sleep, and stood just outside the door to her hut to watch the sun come up over the treetops. It had been weird sleeping alone, but they'd both agreed to not see each other before the wedding, so that involved Jim leaving the night before to go sleep in the compound. It'd be easier that way, anyway. He had to be up there to get ready.

She spent a little while curled up on the ground, enjoying the slightly chilly air, her arms wrapped around her legs and her knees tucked up under her chin. In a few short hours she'd be Mrs. Pam Halpert. Her heartbeat kicked up a few notches at just the mere thought of it. But, finally, it was a good nervous feeling. Everything really had come together in the end and.. she was so happy and so excited.

She sat there for a few hours, at least, until her legs felt a little stiff and the sun was rising higher overhead. She wasn't roused from her thoughts until she heard footsteps coming closer.

When she looked up, she grinned excitedly. Her bridal party was on their way and it was just about time to start getting ready. She stood up and brushed herself off, briefly wondering if any of them had brought any food. Or even tea. She wasn't quite sure she'd be able to keep any real food down at the moment.
