After eating and socializing at the Canadian Thanksgiving, Pam and Jim gracefully ducked away. Holding hands, they started the short walk back to their hut.
"Oh, man. I am so stuffed," she decided, patting her middle.
She puffed her stomach out a little and pouted. "God, I think I just gained like 10 pounds in one sitting, Jim." She looked up at him, overly exaggerating just how distraught she was about this.
The way she had her stomach.. well, it gave them both a glimpse into what things might be like within a year.
