Well, the hotel room on Thanksgiving was actually kind of nice - we ended up getting a suite, so the leftovers I packed up for us were easy to heat up and eat, and Jimmy slept quite well. The following week they came to dig up our yard:

Thanksgiving dinner was great, but while we were cleaning up our main drain stopped up again - completely. We now have raw sewage in our basement. We're getting hotel, since the plumbers can't come out until tomorrow. I have a feeling I'm going to keep chlorox in business until they can actually dig up our yard and fix the broken pipe, ( Read more... )
