Bear Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve

An Alien World in Menlo ParkOn Saturday D. and I went to the salt crystallization ponds in Menlo Park, where we found an alien landscape with few traces of life (and what little life there was struggling to survive). Long Ridge Open Space Preserve 2

On Sunday D. and I returned to Long Ridge Open Space Preserve to try and find the wonderful views the park brochure alluded to. We began at another trailhead farther south. We both took some pics. Here's mine first.
