Okay, not actually starring me, but you get the idea. . .

I went to see Frost/Nixon tonight with miss_begonia. It was fantastic. The acting was outstanding, and I never fail to love a movie that shows the power and the purpose of the media. Even when it's ill-used about 90% of the time.

We went to see Milk tonight at the Castro Theater. It was the commercial premiere of the movie, in the heart of the Castro where it all began. What an amazing experience.

In totally unrelated news, who's got a good website for tasty recipes for the less-than-professional cook?

That much is true, unless, of course, the book is awful and the movie somehow makes it better (I believe The Bridges of Madison County is in that category.) But it's always especially sad when it's a book you adore, and a cast and crew that raise your hopes, and then -- it's awful anyway.
