yeah. that last scene was pure plagerism. and I quote...

I'd like to point out that although the things you have talked about have always been part of superman, you never seemed to have a problem with them when it was Smallville. Did the love interest in this movie not reach Kristen Kreuk levels of mesmerism?

i actually have no issue at all with the jesus allusions...i just wonder if some christians might be offended...but then again, maybe not, he's freakin' superman for cryin' out loud! haha

weird, i've never really heard about the association of Superman and Jesus. i don't recall such intense illusions in the comics, although admittingly, i didn't read that much superman. however, it was generally known that superman was a tool for american propaganda, he was the ultimate american hero (i think there's even an issue where he's battling communists).
