I never got around to writing this up; I'm doing it now just because despite the fact that I have a steel-trap memory, I'm sure some of it is getting lost with time.

I'm leaving the first week postpartum, during which we were both still in the hospital, off for now.

Yesterday Oscar had an early release and an appointment for his H1N1 vax right in the middle of the three hours he was supposed to still be at school, plus a sick mom who couldn't be arsed to take him in for the 45 minutes before the appointment, so we just skipped the whole day.
