I can't find the cable to download first-day-of-school pics off the camera.
Information is dribbling out. The first day (Thursday) he came home very excited about an art project he was making for us that had to dry. The second day he told us they'd only had one minute of recess, because on the way to recess someone had needed to use the restroom, and that had used up 9 whole minutes of their 10 minute recess. (This is a half-day program; there are no full-day kindergarten classes at our neighborhood school.) This afternoon he mentioned that they were making books.
And apparently he was praised for remembering and following the rules. Heh. :-)
At home he's been utterly immersed, all summer, in Age of Empires, Age of Kings, and the Star Wars Galactic Command game that runs on the same platform as the other two. He is winning, without cheats.
Oh, and we took him to his first movie theatre experience (Wall-E), only it doesn't count, because we were the only ones in the theatre.
