Well... Predictably, I spent much of the weekend goin' to school.  Not literally, of course... I'm in an online college, and very nearly the entire weekend disappeared in a haze of schoolwork.  I don't remember really doing much of anything else.  I had a headache, too.  All weekend.

I recently underwent a brief period of utter madness in which I abused my access to social media to send all kinds of friend requests and e-mails to people with whom I shared the most tenuous connections... people I'd shared a brief relationship with when I was young, or who inspired me in some fashion....  One of these was a young lady named Roxy.

I'm stressin'.

As a highly analytical person and a student of psychology, I feel like my ability to identify and understand my stressors should impart unto me the ability to dismiss it.  I have always been good at dealing with stress... I don't let it bury me.  And I'm still not.  But I appear to have stumbled over a small chunk of kryptonite.

• My rehearsal schedule has yet to see a successful session.  The first weekend was disrupted by the realization that Sunday was actually Valentine's Day... and then this weekend there was snow.  It wasn't a lot, but there wasn't any dire purpose that made it necessary to make the 2-1/2 hour drive in crappy ( Read more... )

We just spent over seven hundred dollars at Wal-Mart. On groceries.
