The Horror of Fang Rock is one of my favorite Tom Baker stories, which is really amusing to me, as Tom did not like the script. The thing with this type of media-tie in book is that such books tend to keep things status quo.  There are very few deep messages and no character growth, just plot driven adventure.

The next book in the Star Trek: TNG series is Q&A, written by Keith R.A. DeCandido and published in the fall of 2007 for the 20th anniversary of the series debut. As one might guess from the title, this book features Q, the omnipotent being from the very first episode of the series.

Resistance, by J.M. Dillard was released in September 2007 and really began the major push to reset the Star Trek universe in the 24th Century era. The stakes are considerably raised in this book, and a new Enterprise crew begins to take shape. This book changes things.

In preparation to review this movie with respect to the live action television series of the same name and Ang Lee's Hulk from 2003, I watched both the series pilot and Lee's film. I went into the theater Sunday afternoon with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised.
