My weekend was pretty darn great. I won VIP tickets to see X Japan at Madison Square Garden. I already had a floor ticket so I was going one way or the other but I can't say no to VIP!! So I mentioned that before the X Japan live I was going to some dude's house for photos. Yeah, the first couple weren't particularly great but once we got to my third outfit, which was also the outfit I was leaving to go to the show to I started to like some of the photos; that third outfit was my hide cosplay. The X Japan concert is tomorrow.
I suppose I should be more excited about it but I'm just... not, for whatever reason. I'll be bringing my hide gear to do cosplay (sans guitar) but hrm, I dunno. I was walking out into the shoutengai and hide's "Eyes Love You" came on. It took me a second to recognize it ('I know that song! What is it?!) and then happiness ensued.
How weird is it that hide's songs are being played in an old people shopping arcade? Well, the other day I heard Mika Nakashima so it can't be all that bad....
