Cause I love Greece, and I love the Renaissance style... It should however be noted that what was considered Greek in the 16th century has switched borders probably several times. I've been to Greece a couple of times these last 5 years. One thing I love about the Mediterranean countries are their pharmacies. Hellas (AKA Greece) 2010 was fantastic.

I found a dead cheap flight-only charter trip to the Ionian island Zákynthos. A beautiful place which I saw all too little of, because I was to meet people over at the main land AKA Peloponnese. I took ferry and bus to get from Zákynthos to Trípolis some hours away, which was a fun trip in itself.

The icon tradition of the Orthodox church might seem as a conservative affaire. But sometimes truly charming stuff shows up.
