Absolutely bonkers weekend at the box office. Cannot believe that an unrated indie horror movie won the weekend, much less that it won the weekend over the second weekend of a sequel whose original film made a billion fucking dollars!! Warner Bros must be in fucking shambles right now.

On the plus side, this should mean that they go all in on promoting Dune 2 for awards season.

Bummed that Saturday Night isn't doing better, but it feels like the audience for theatrical adult dramas has become inconsistent at best. It's a shame - it wasn't amazing, but I enjoyed it!

Last night, I saw We Live in Time with an Andrew Garfield Q&A after.

The movie was exactly what I expected from the trailer, in a good way, and I still got emotionally bodied by it. I was like

Yesss they need to bring all awards effort into Dune 2. The early release date may hurt it.
