On the plus side, this should mean that they go all in on promoting Dune 2 for awards season.
Bummed that Saturday Night isn't doing better, but it feels like the audience for theatrical adult dramas has become inconsistent at best. It's a shame - it wasn't amazing, but I enjoyed it!
Last night, I saw We Live in Time with an Andrew Garfield Q&A after.
The movie was exactly what I expected from the trailer, in a good way, and I still got emotionally bodied by it. I was like
at both the scene I recognized from candid shots of them filming, as well as the very brief scene with the carousel horse.
And Andrew was so cute and chatty and funny during the Q&A... I was charmed.
Unfortunately, I think it will probably flop in wide release like most other adult dramas rn, which is a damn shame. Hope I am wrong!!
