I watch the news and feel like they must be making a mistake. The weatherman says a cold front is coming in, shows blue swirls moving across the ocean and reaching the state of Florida. He says in a serious and hopeful voice that the high is not going to "exceed eighty-five degrees" and the people in the city are thrilled, they put their jeans on. ( Read more... )

When I am away my mother misses me terribly, loves me desperately and calls me frequently. When I am in her physical presents she forgets that she gave birth to me, half raised me or has even met me. There are times where I take up with certain things. I will refuse to use the proper tense, to stay in the proper place. I will not keep my mouth shut.
