A day wasted at home, pretty much.  Did laundry, played some Lord of the Rings Online, and watched The Hurt Locker with director's commentary.

I did check in with my brother to see how the new baby is doing.  Word is that he's feeding up a storm and sleeping intermittently.  In other words, all is normal.

Went to an advance sneak peek of Extraordinary Measures, with Harrison Ford and Brendan Fraser.  A "based on a true story" film.  I kind of enjoyed it, but mostly because it was nice to see Harrison Ford acting and not trying to punch out aliens.  I think they successfully manage to navigate the problem of finding an antagonist when your main story ( Read more... )

Hunter's taken pretty well to Daycare, and it's definitely had a postive impact from what I can see.  He's bolder about trying things out, for one.  For another, we're seeing a lot more word use and effort on his part to communicate with us.

Hunter starts daycare tomorrow, which is a fairly big step.  He's made a lot of progress in the last couple months developing his vocab, but we're hoping exposure to more people his age will kick start things a bit more.  Also, it'll give Holly some time to work on school and time for herself.  Good all around, one hopes ( Read more... )

We've left the happy go lucky days of being able to set Hunter down behind, now. The little guy, long frustrated by his inability to move and stymied by his intense dislike of tummy time, has discovered he can slide on his butt.
