I love how-to books.  I can't get enough how-to write books.  Here's an example (my own-based on a story I began in high school and have yet to finish) from using a format from Novelist's Boot Camp: 101 Ways to Take Your Book From Boring to Bestseller.

My research was taken from the FDA and the National Human Genome Research Institute and Wikipedia and a few other internet sites on gene splicing and also Animal Planet for the splicing of animal genes into Kitty.
