Writer's Boot Camp Lesson

I love how-to books.  I can't get enough how-to write books.  Here's an example (my own-based on a story I began in high school and have yet to finish) from using a format from Novelist's Boot Camp: 101 Ways to Take Your Book From Boring to Bestseller.

"On the distant world of Shima [macro setting], the previous Empress, a widowed mother in exile [main character], must overcome the challenges of single parenthood while leading a band of suicidal, homeless samurai, rallying an army big enough to vanquish the new Emperor’s tyrannical dictatorship [opposition] and fulfilling a prophecy that is eons old [genre]."

Hee. I'm proud of my definition of ronin. Hope it doesn't sound too Star Wars-ish...
hmmm... I wonder how Kitty would do in the role of Katsumi, leader of the ronin and mother of Yoshi, the Crown Prince to Shima's throne?
