I rewatched the whole Lord of the Rings trilogy a week or two ago and have some new thoughts/ramblings/meta/geekery to talk about, but first I want to share a couple of songs about Éowyn I found. Feet Offer Clues About Tiny Hominid

Turns out the Homo floresiensis, an extinct small hominid (one specimen found was 3'6"/1.06m) found in Indonesia has even MORE reason to be called Hobbit. They had disproportionately large feet!

I know that's not the main point of the article, but I can't resist the urge to geek out over this.
