Finally heading home tomorrow from my sisters in Buffalo. Makes me happy!! I love my sister, but we CAN NOT LIVE TOGETHER for extended periods of time. She has three dogs, I have three dogs and in a 1000 square foot house, that is too small for six dogs and two adults. We have been here a month. My 'baby' boy turned three on December 12! Meggie also has a birthday sometime in November, she is eight now. I love them both so much, it is ridiculous. Tucker, the baby, is nine months now. My sister's birthday was yesterday. She is currently on a cruise ship heading to Alaska. Apparently, this is an anniversary gift from, who knows? One of her rich in-laws I think. Mom has had a bunch of tests yesterday and today. She also had PT in to evaluate her ability to ambulate once she goes home. Which will probably be Friday. This is a good thing. It gives my sister a break all week, so she can gear up to take care of her over the weekend. There will be home care coming in next week. She cannot be alone M-F for nine ( Read more... )

Sister texted me this afternoon. Mom is admitted until Monday, possibly longer. She's on clear liquids, not happy about that!, because her output is discolored. She loves her food! Got the phone call tonight. My mother is in hospital. Dehydration, low blood sugar. She was on an overnight trip Tue/Wed. When she got back to my sisters house, she didn't bother to tell my sister that she wasn't feeling well.
