On Thursday night, motorhead5 and I went to see Metallica at Nassau Coliseum. It was a hell of a show. We skipped openers The Sword. But we caught a strong, heavy set from Machine (fucking) Head with their trademark blasts of precision double beats--had a great view of their drummer. This is the new Metallica video for "All Nightmare Long" from Death Magnetic. It's based on this experimental Russian horror film and it does npt feature the boys. It's very Hellboy/Lovecraftian.

With the release of new record Death Magnetic just a month away, the mighty Metallica machine is gearing up. The band played Ozzfest in Texas and leaked a new song from the record: "Cyanide"
Mmm. Smells like bitter almonds.

Had a productive day today. Organized t-shirts, jeans, and the collection of hockey, football and baseball jerseys, and got some work done on the legal issues surrounding the impending sale of my mother's co-op.
