Breakfast and Pemburying

Good morning people! What, it's after 1pm BST you say? Piffle. I just had breakfast so therefore it is morning.

I am excited by my breakfast.

Steamed (halved) brussels sprouts*
Trimmed and visibly fat-free bacon, mushrooms, (frozen) grilled vegetables** from Waitrose... all fried in fry light*** and a generous squirt of pureed garlic.
1 slice wholemeal toast with marg.
2 huge mugs of masala chai (known by Starbucks as chai tea... idiots).

Why am I so excited by my breakfast? I love to have breakfast that includes two or more servings of vegetables. I love fying food in my non-stick frying pan, using fry light... only about 4 calories are used in the 'frying' process. I love mushrooms. I love garlic. It all tasted bloody good. Plenty of fibre, enough protein. Mmmm.

* Sprouts needed eating
** Courgette, (bell) pepper, aubergine and onion. Grilled in a factory then frozen. Incredibly convenient yet healthy food. Pull it out of the freezer and add it to stuff. I'll get round to trying the Iceland equivalent at some point... the Waitrose version is quite expensive.
*** OMG fry light is so useful. I still use measured amounts of olive oil occasionally, but using fry light just cuts out unnecessary calories without doing too much to taste and texture. I recommend. Other squirty fry products are available.

I am Pemburying with reddragdiva this evening for two or three hours. I'll be there from 7pm, and plan to be social. It'd be nice if some of you could join us.
