A few months ago I got into Parks and Recreation. I watched the first two seasons on Netflix and became completely enamored. It's totally my best new favorite show. Which is saying something because I like a lot of shows.
Anyway, last week something pivotal happened and you knew it was going to happen eventually and there was buildup and anticipation and then it happened and it was awesome.
It's so fun to participate in a fandom when something exciting happens. There's a big rush and the fandom explodes and there's gifs and discussions and fanmixes everywhere. It's just giddiness and excitement and it spills over into your everyday life and makes you happy.
If you're not watching Parks and Rec, I highly recommend it. It's very funny and cheery and un-ironic, which is refreshing.
