O'Neill sat on a couch in the common room, eating a biscuit. He'd been getting them from that house elf and eating enough to start to get a bit of a soft spot around his middle. Of course, he was blissfully unaware of the fact that he was become rather round... His school robes were cut rather generously. It had been a boringday for him, and he hoped that it wouldn't turn into a boring night.

Jul came in after class and crashed on the couch next to O'Neill and sighed. "Can we just skip classes and play quidditch all day? I wouldn't mind that."

She looked over at the pile of books she'd dropped on the floor with disdain and then for the first time looked over at him and saw he was eating. "Where'd you get that? Dinner isn't for another hour?" Which clearly meant that she was starving and wanted one.

"I uhhhh..." O'Neill patted down his robes, and pulled out a slightly fuzzy biscuit. He blew on it, sending fuzz everywhere, and passed it to Jul, "Uh, my mum?" Smooth, O'Neill, he thought to himself, sure she'll never suspect a thing.

"But yeah, Quidditch all day sounds brilliant," he said, talking fast, hoping to distract her from finding out his precious biscuit connection, "They should have schools where all you do is play Quidditch! And the beaters should be given extra meals and privelages, because we all KNOW that's the best position to play."

Jul stared at him for a second, watching him blow off the lint from his robes but hey she accepted muffins from Maggie's bookbag all the time. She grinned as he handed it to her and picked off small pieces and started popping them in her mouth. "Thanks!"

It was nice having some people that didn't hate her, it seemed that recently all the people that she thought were her friends had decided that she wasn't anymore (nevermind the fact that Hannah and her had fought and people tended to choose her side).

"Yeah," She nodded. Not even thinking anymore about where he had gotten the biscuit from...then she remembered that Jesse had basically gotten O'Neills spot on the team after he left and she felt kind of bad...so she really wasn't thinking about it.

"And Chasers too..we need food for all that...moving..or something." She grinned but now was more worried about the whole beater deal to be really happy.

Monday, February 27th - Afternoon (Class 1) jojo_jenkins January 6 2007, 17:40:42 UTC
Jojo was hanging around the common room, in search of Calie as usual. He'd studied during lunch, preferring to make use of the empty hour lunch gave him. It was getting ridiculous in there, he was going to have to find somewhere else to go.

He smiled as he saw Danielle enter the room. "Hello there, you 18 year old you!" Jojo greeted with a laugh. "Where've you been?"

((Tag to Danielle))

Danielle dragged herself into the Common Room. Wasn't like she had much else to do. She smiled slightly as she noticed Jojo.

"Jojo! I've been..." she paused. Where had she been? "I made a friend," she said cheerilly, a little proud of herself. "Well, I think I made a friend," she added nervously. "What about you? Busy with your girlfriend?" she resisted the urge to wiggle her eyebrows at the word 'busy.' She reminded herself that talking about Von to Jojo would probably put her friend in a bad situation. So she focused on the positive.

A friend? Jojo smirked. Yeah, like he didn't know exactly who she was talking about. He couldn't keep up with them anymore. Crazy people. "Well, it's nice to see you again," He laughed, standing to give her a hug. A birthday hug, if you will. Sure, it wasn't quite her birthday anymore, but STILL.

"Calie is good, I think. I don't get to see her that much, it...it fairly sucks," Jojo admitted with a small shrug, sitting back down again. He patted the couch for her to sit next to him. "How's your friend?"

Danielle's eyes narrowed slightly. "A friend. Ashleigh. My roommate? I've known her for seven years but we started talking more. See? A friend." She returned the hug happilly and settled onto the couch where he indicated.

"The other one," she hunched a little in her seat, clasping her hands in front of her. "Is... a bit more of a problem." With a sigh, she leaned back and shifted into the couch.

Tuesday, February 28 - Afternoon3 (before dinner) addie_blackwood January 8 2007, 20:30:42 UTC
Addie relaxed at a table the busy common room and idly finished up her Astronomy work before the practical lesson that night.

Not like she wasn't nearly finished, not like she was actually doing the work.. no more like she was just passing time watching the cute older boys come in.

Qailah had an issue that desperately needed to be addressed - and for this particular problem, there was only one person she could talk to.

She came up from the Great Hall with a mug of coffee and was relieved to see Addie reclining at a table. She dodged a pair of first-years in a hurry , deftly avoiding scalding them with hot coffee (although she did consider it) and sat beside Addie.

"Do you know the last time I was kissed?" Qailah complained. "It has been far too long."

Addie giggled as she saw her dormmate enter the room and watched her for a second. First years were rather amusing if not irritating when you were the one who had to deal with them.

"Oh?" Of course Addie would never admit that she'd only kissed a handful of people ever. "That's rather a shame.."

"Ugh," Qailah grunted with dissatisfaction as she sipped her coffee. "The last guy that kissed me was Tobias. I don't even know of any good candidates. And this coffee is nasty," she added.

She sighed and pushed her coffee away. "Please tell me you've been kissing all sorts of boys lately so I can live vicariously through you," Qailah smiled hopefully.

Tuesday, February 28 - Evening in the Seventh Year Girl's Dorm Room danielle_cole January 9 2007, 00:37:12 UTC
Danielle was all set to celebrate her birthday (a little belated but... hey). She had plenty of Firewhiskey and was fairly sure her roommates wouldn't sell her out. In the common room, she'd have to hide the alcohol from the youngons but here? Her roommates might even want some. And it was better than a party because a) more booze for herself b) no horrible mistakes with random people.

A good celebration indeed.

Ashleigh came into the dorm and practically threw her bag to the floor. It wasn't that she was in a bad mood. She was in a good mood. She was just very very -very- happy to be finished with bloody Transfiguration and her studies altogether, really.

Realizing that she wasn't the only one in the room, she turned around with a somewhat apologetic smile. "Hello," she greeted.

Honestly, she didn't know, exactly, when Danielle's birthday was. Sure, she had an idea. They'd been dormmates for 7 years, after all. However, until this year, they'd not been even remotely close. Birthdays weren't really celebrated between them.

When she saw the firewhiskey -which was almost instantly- she cocked an eyebrow. "Throwing a wild party?" she asked, smiling.

Danielle smiled cheerilly at Ashleigh as she entered. She felt rather proud of herself for being friendly with Ashleigh this year, even if they didn't exactly have a lot of time to be friends.

"My birthday was last week," she explained. "Haven't had time to..." she held up a bottle, "celebrate. There's that bloody decree where wild parties are out so the wild partying is staying inside this dorm room today. Didn't think you guys would mind," she said apologetically. "Want some?" She extended a bottle to Ashleigh.

Ashleigh really enjoyed the time that she and Danielle spent together. Honestly, she wouldn't object to a friendship after school. It was a pity that it had taken them so long to get to know one another ( ... )

Friday, March 3rd. Afternoon 2. maggiedowney January 11 2007, 20:58:40 UTC
Maggie's day hadn't been that bad, all things considered. Sure, she'd had Transfiguration, which never boded well considering how poor she was at wand-magic. But she hadn't received a Howler like Hannah had that morning. And her relationship with Ty was still nice and delightful, unlike poor Remy and stupid, ponce Danny.

Of course, she had to worry about the Quidditch game. But in the grand scheme of things, she was doing not badly at all, and lay curled up in the large maroon chesterfield of the Gryffindor Common Room, reading a book on the Wizarding Wars of the 5th century BCE, her fingers outstretched and idly playing with the golden tassles attached to the arm of the chesterfield.

"Ugh." It was a tired, worn out Remy who slogged it back up the ridiculous amount of stairs Hogwarts had, all the way into Gryffindor Tower, and straight to the huge sofa where Maggie lay all snuggled up. She looked so cosy there - he had just HAD to join her. So join her he did.

"Ugh." He repeated, and tumbled down beside the girl, instantly snuggling into her lap and completely disregarding the Wizarding Wars tome that his head was now under. "Pet me." He mumbled half-heartedly into Maggie's leg and wriggled around a bit to get comfortable. "I need lots of tender care right now. Pet me."

Maggie had to really restrain herself from laughing at the poor boy. His heart had just been broken, after all. But sometimes he was really such a child. She rested her Wizarding wars book on the edge of the sofa, and shook her head at him before beginning to play with his hair. He looked so incredibly helpless.

"Hey you," she smiled down at him softly, twisting a lock of his hair around her fingers, "how're you holding up, Lion?"

"Mmmm. Fairly not-so-good. I guess." A slight movement of his shoulders could have been taken as a hug, but really it was so slight, it could just have been another wiggle. His eyes closed as Maggie stroked his hair - he really did so love people touching his hair, and it always soothed him. "M'tired, Mags."

He was - it was Friday afternoon after a long, and eventful week, and he was worn out completely. Even twenty four hours of hiding the continuation of his relationship was draining him - Remy was not used to being quiet and secretive about anything. Everything was usually so straightforward with him, but not this time.

"How're you?" He twisted his face against her leg to free his mouth and speak more clearly. His cheek rested against the warm denim of her jeans, eyes closed, body tucked up in the usual unexpected fetal position he always adopted when sleeping. "You and Ty doin' okay?"
