After a blissfully busy summer and fall, it's nice to finally have some Boring Time. During the past few weeks I have barely made any plans or gone anywhere, but I've spent a lot of quality time with my couch and my mom's Netflix account and my sewing machine.

Things are shaping up nicely around these parts. Millbilly Chris got a job at a warehouse. I got a tv and was shocked to discover the antenna I bought at a yardsale for $2 actually did what I wanted it to do, which is get the music video station and the Simpsons. He had repeatedly expressed an interest in the Whaling Museum, so my present to him was an all-expenses-paid choose-your-own-adventure trip to New Bedford.
